If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1. About RentalObjects.com

RentalObjects.com is an online marketplace designed to connect people and businesses who have items available for rent with people and businesses looking to rent those items.

The Platform may allow users to:

Discuss rental arrangements;

RentalObjects.com is a platform for connecting users. It is not the owner, seller, renter, manufacturer, distributor, insurer, transporter, or custodian of the items listed by users.

2. RentalObjects.com Is Only a Marketplace

RentalObjects.com acts solely as a digital venue and intermediary platform that enables users to find and communicate with one another.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, RentalObjects.com:

Does not own the items listed on the Platform;
Does not rent the items to Renters;
Does not purchase the items from Owners;
Does not sell the items;
Does not manufacture the items;
Does not physically inspect the items;
Does not store the items;
Does not transport the items;
Does not guarantee the items;
Does not determine whether an Owner or Renter is trustworthy;
Does not guarantee that an Owner or Renter will fulfill their obligations.

When an Owner and a Renter agree to a rental, the rental relationship is between those users.

RentalObjects.com is generally not a party to that rental agreement.

3. RentalObjects.com Does Not Receive Rental Payments

RentalObjects.com does not receive or hold rental payments between Owners and Renters unless a specific payment service is expressly introduced and identified on the Platform.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

RentalObjects.com does not collect the rental price;
RentalObjects.com does not hold rental funds;
RentalObjects.com does not guarantee payment;
RentalObjects.com does not guarantee repayment;
RentalObjects.com does not guarantee a security deposit;
RentalObjects.com does not collect unpaid rental amounts;
RentalObjects.com does not act as a collection agency;
RentalObjects.com does not automatically receive a commission from the rental price.

The financial terms of a rental are agreed directly between the relevant users.

If an Owner is not paid, RentalObjects.com is not responsible for collecting the unpaid amount.

If a Renter pays an Owner and the Owner fails to fulfill their obligations, RentalObjects.com is not responsible for reimbursing that payment, except where applicable law or a specific service expressly provides otherwise.

4. No Guarantee Regarding Users

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee the identity, reliability, honesty, financial capacity, legal status, or behavior of any user.

A person using the Platform may:

Provide inaccurate information;
Provide incomplete information;
Fail to update their information;
Misrepresent their identity;
Misrepresent ownership of an item;
Misrepresent the condition of an item;
Fail to honor an agreement;
Fail to make a payment;
Fail to return an item;
Damage an item;
Steal an item;
Commit fraud;
Operate without appropriate authorization;
Operate a business without the required legal status or registration.

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into a transaction.

5. Business and Company Verification

RentalObjects.com may allow businesses, professionals, self-employed individuals, and other commercial users to publish listings.

Unless a specific verification badge or verification service is expressly provided, the appearance of a company or professional profile on RentalObjects.com does not mean that RentalObjects.com has verified that business.

RentalObjects.com does not necessarily independently verify:

Company registration;
Business existence;
Company ownership;
Company directors;
Registration numbers;
Tax numbers;
Business addresses;
Licenses;
Professional qualifications;
Insurance;
Financial standing;
VAT status;
Legal authorization to rent a particular item;
Accuracy of business information.

A user may provide a company name, registration number, address, website, license number, or other business information.

Such information is provided by the user and should not automatically be interpreted as verified or certified by RentalObjects.com.

Users who rent from or deal with a business are responsible for conducting their own verification and due diligence.

6. Accuracy of Listings

Rental listings are created and managed by users.

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee that listings are:

Accurate;
Complete;
Current;
Authentic;
Available;
Legal;
Safe;
Suitable for a particular purpose;
Free from defects;
Owned by the person listing them;
Accurately photographed;
Accurately described.

An Owner is responsible for providing truthful and sufficiently detailed information about their item.

Renters should not rely solely on a listing when making an important rental decision.

Users should ask questions, request additional photographs or information where appropriate, and conduct reasonable checks before entering into a rental arrangement.

7. Owner Responsibilities

Owners are solely responsible for the items they list.

Owners must ensure, to the extent required by applicable law, that their listings and rental activities comply with applicable legal requirements.

Owners should provide accurate information regarding:

Item name;
Brand;
Model;
Condition;
Age where relevant;
Photographs;
Included accessories;
Rental price;
Availability;
Security deposit;
Pickup location;
Delivery options;
Delivery fees;
Usage restrictions;
Safety requirements;
Required qualifications;
Cancellation conditions;
Return requirements.

Owners must not deliberately conceal material defects or important information about an item.

8. Renter Responsibilities

Renters are responsible for determining whether an item is appropriate for their intended use.

Renters must:

Use rented items responsibly;
Follow manufacturer instructions;
Follow safety instructions;
Follow applicable laws;
Follow reasonable instructions provided by the Owner;
Use equipment only for its intended purpose;
Not modify an item without authorization;
Not use an item in a prohibited manner;
Return the item within the agreed period;
Return included accessories;
Notify the Owner of significant damage or malfunction.

Renters should not knowingly use equipment that appears unsafe, defective, damaged, or unsuitable.

9. Rental Agreements Are Between Users

RentalObjects.com provides the environment in which users may find each other.

However, the actual rental conditions are generally determined directly between the Owner and Renter.

The parties may agree on:

Rental price;
Rental duration;
Deposit;
Pickup;
Delivery;
Return;
Late fees;
Damage fees;
Cleaning requirements;
Permitted use;
Cancellation conditions;
Other rental conditions.

Users are responsible for reading and understanding the conditions before agreeing to a rental.

10. Pickup, Delivery and Return

Unless RentalObjects.com expressly provides a specific delivery or logistics service, the Platform is not responsible for:

Pickup;
Delivery;
Shipping;
Transportation;
Loading;
Unloading;
Return;
Delayed delivery;
Lost shipments;
Damaged shipments.

Owners and Renters are responsible for agreeing on appropriate arrangements.

Renters are responsible for returning items according to the conditions agreed with the Owner.

11. Damage, Loss and Theft

RentalObjects.com is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of an item occurring before, during, or after a rental transaction.

Where an item is:

Damaged;
Lost;
Stolen;
Returned incomplete;
Returned late;
Returned in an unacceptable condition;

the Owner and Renter must address the matter between themselves, subject to applicable law and any agreement they have entered into.

RentalObjects.com does not automatically compensate Owners for stolen, lost, or damaged items.

RentalObjects.com does not automatically compensate Renters for damaged or defective items.

12. Non-Payment

If a Renter fails to pay an Owner, RentalObjects.com is not responsible for the unpaid amount unless RentalObjects.com has expressly undertaken a payment-collection obligation.

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee that Renters:

Have sufficient funds;
Will make payment;
Will honor an agreement;
Will pay late fees;
Will compensate an Owner for damage.

Any unpaid rental amount is primarily a matter between the Owner and Renter.

13. Fraud, Scams and Misrepresentation

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee that users will act honestly.

Users may potentially encounter:

Fraudulent listings;
Fake identities;
Fake businesses;
False company information;
Stolen items;
Misrepresented products;
Fake reviews;
Non-payment;
Theft;
Scams;
Other fraudulent conduct.

Users should exercise caution and conduct reasonable due diligence.

RentalObjects.com may investigate reports and take action against accounts or listings where appropriate, but we cannot guarantee that all fraudulent activity will be detected or prevented.

14. Payments and Security Deposits Between Users

Unless RentalObjects.com expressly provides a payment service, Owners and Renters are responsible for determining how payment and deposits are handled.

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee:

Payment;
Refunds;
Security deposits;
Deposit returns;
Chargebacks;
Reimbursement;
Compensation;
Recovery of unpaid amounts.

Users should carefully consider the payment method and the risks associated with transactions between individuals.

15. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are generally determined by the Owner and Renter.

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee that a user will receive a refund unless RentalObjects.com has expressly provided a refund mechanism or applicable law requires otherwise.

Owners should clearly communicate their cancellation conditions before a rental is agreed.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights.

16. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use RentalObjects.com to:

Break the law;
Commit fraud;
Facilitate criminal activity;
Threaten or harass others;
Impersonate another person;
Create fraudulent accounts;
Publish false information;
Publish fraudulent listings;
Manipulate reviews;
Distribute malware;
Spam users;

Circumvent Platform restrictions;
Promote prohibited products;
Facilitate unlawful transactions.

17. Prohibited Content

Users may not publish content that is:

Threatening;
Abusive;

By submitting content to RentalObjects.com, you grant RentalObjects.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and promote the Platform.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content.

24. Safety and Insurance

Users are responsible for determining whether a particular rental requires:

Insurance;
Licensing;
Certification;
Training;
Protective equipment;
Special authorization.

RentalObjects.com does not automatically provide insurance coverage for rental transactions.

The Platform provides the opportunity to connect. It does not guarantee the outcome of the connection.

32. No Responsibility for Product Quality or Condition

RentalObjects.com is not responsible for the quality, condition, performance, safety, durability, authenticity, legality, or suitability of any item listed by users.

This includes, without limitation:

Tools;
Equipment;
Cameras;
Musical instruments;
Vehicles;
Electronics;
Event equipment;
Outdoor equipment;
Household goods;
Professional equipment;
Any other item offered through the Platform.

Users must independently assess whether an item is suitable for their needs.

33. No Responsibility for Theft, Loss or Damage

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentalObjects.com is not responsible for:

Theft of rented items;
Loss of rented items;
Damage to rented items;
Damage caused by rented items;
Personal injury resulting from an item;

Failure to return an item;

These matters generally arise between the Owner and Renter.

34. No Responsibility for False Companies or Businesses

RentalObjects.com does not guarantee that every business appearing on the Platform:

Is legally registered;
Actually exists;
Has a valid registration number;
Has a valid license;
Has valid insurance;
Is financially solvent;
Is authorized to rent the listed products;
Provides accurate company information.

The existence of a business profile on RentalObjects.com should not be considered an official certification by RentalObjects.com.

Users are responsible for verifying businesses before entering into transactions.

35. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentalObjects.com, Tiatira, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for losses arising from transactions or interactions between users, including:
